What's Actually Open on Bonita Beach Road This November, and What's Still Coming

You can see the busiest part of Bonita Beach Road this fall from the I-75 ramp, but you can't eat there yet. Midtown at Bonita is a 68-acre mixed-use project at 13000 Bonita Beach Road SE. Its developer, The Zuckerman Group, has signed a long roster of restaurants and shops. As of late October, though, none of them had been reported open. A few miles of road away, the former Southwest Florida Event Center is set to become a dinner-cabaret, and its November opening is still a target too.

So the corridor's biggest stories are still under construction. The newcomers you can go to this month are smaller and got here quietly over the summer. Most of the November evenings worth planning around are booked at a venue that has been on Bonita Beach Road the whole time.

Downtown is on a different schedule. Riverside Park is closed for phase-two renovation, with construction running through November 2026 and completion expected by winter. The City's approved special-events list has no Riverside Park events until December. That makes Bonita Beach Road the part of town where new things are happening right now. Here's the status of each.

Open and upcoming, by street number

Address Place Status
3401 Bonita Beach Road, Unit 104 Philly's Famous Cheesesteaks & Hoagies, Beach Road Plaza Open since summer 2026
10150 Bonita Beach Road Arts Bonita Performing Arts Center November calendar running
11515 Bonita Beach Road SE Voulez-Vous Naples Targeting November, no confirmed date
13000 Bonita Beach Road SE Midtown at Bonita First tenants targeting late 2026, LowBrow in early December
26795 S. Bay Drive, Suite 162 Yonutz Donuts and Ice Cream, Promenade at Bonita Bay Open since September 2026

Two of the five lines are places you can walk into today. A third is a theater with a full month of shows, and that's the one doing most of the work in November.

The summer arrivals

Philly's Famous Cheesesteaks & Hoagies opened in Beach Road Plaza this summer. Gulfshore Business columnist Tim Aten included it in his roundup of openings during a slow off-season, which ran in Naples Press. The restaurant's own site says "Now Open" and gives the address as Unit 104.

Yonutz Donuts and Ice Cream opened at Promenade at Bonita Bay in September. The shopping center's opening announcement is dated September 8, 2026, and calls Yonutz a viral dessert sensation. The Promenade has a second reason to visit on weekends. The Local Roots Flea Market started there on October 3 and runs Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon through May 29, 2027, according to the City of Bonita Springs special events page. Both are open on Saturday mornings, so the flea market and a Yonutz stop fit into the same trip.

The November calendar at 10150 Bonita Beach Road

While the newer projects wait on permits and finishing work, the Arts Bonita Performing Arts Center has a full November. Here's what its events calendar lists:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 3: Funny Old Broads
  • Friday, Nov. 6, 7:30 p.m.: Frontiers, a Journey tribute
  • Sunday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m.: Firefall
  • Friday, Nov. 13, 7:30 p.m.: Here Come the Mummies
  • Thursday, Nov. 19, 7:30 p.m.: Tito Puente Jr.'s Mambo Mania
  • Friday, Nov. 20, 7:30 p.m.: My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish...

That's six shows over about two and a half weeks. Unlike the openings further east, every one of them has a fixed date and start time. If you want to build a night out around something on Bonita Beach Road in November, the calendar with set dates is the one at 10150.

The arts center's best-known outdoor event isn't on this list. The next Bonita Springs National Art Festival dates are January 9 and 10, February 6 and 7, and March 6 and 7, 2027, all at Riverside Park at 10450 Reynolds St. Those dates fall after the park's expected winter completion. November is the month before the arts calendar moves back downtown.

What the November target at Imperial Parkway means

Gulfshore Business reported in an article updated October 22 that Voulez-Vous Naples is targeting a November opening. It's going into the former Southwest Florida Event Center at 11515 Bonita Beach Road SE, on the southeast corner of Bonita Beach Road and Imperial Parkway.

The concept is more ambitious than a typical new restaurant. The same report describes Mediterranean-inspired cooking, live performances and international DJs. The main dining and performance room is planned for about 350 guests, with a separate lounge for about 170. The dinner show is meant to happen both onstage and around the tables, with live musicians, aerialists and specialty performers. Owner Roy Dobrasinovic, a Naples resident, told Gulfshore Business the name is French for "Would you like?" and is meant as an invitation to dress up and celebrate.

Until there's an opening date, plan around November as the target month and nothing more specific. A 520-seat room with aerial acts takes more to open than a counter-service shop does. If it opens on schedule, Bonita Beach Road gets a late-night dinner show to go with the 7:30 curtains at Arts Bonita.

Midtown at Bonita is a December story

Midtown at Bonita is where the most names are attached. Business Observer reported on August 31 that two new tenants brought the development to about 75% occupancy. They are Alea, a family-owned Mediterranean restaurant with Greek influences, and Starbucks. Alea's outdoor bar will be the first in the development. Other tenants named in the Business Observer report include Airport Donuts, Bonita Beach Wine & Spirits, The Hangry Bison, Jeff's Bagel Run, LowBrow Pizza, Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls, Mathnasium, TJ Maxx and Ulta Beauty. The development's 400-unit Paradiso Bonita Springs apartment community is already open. The developer said the walkable retail portion would start opening later in 2026.

The clearest date anyone has given comes from LowBrow Pizza & Beer. Owner Antonio Longobardo told the Naples Daily News in an October 8 update that his second location is "targeting the first couple of weeks in December." His space is nearly 5,000 square feet. He described a 10-foot rock hand sculpture on the patio, themed booths including a Super Nintendo booth, and an indoor-outdoor garage-door bar. The menu will be about 98 percent the same as the Naples original, plus a beer brewed exclusively with Riptide Brewing. The same article said LowBrow would take job applications at the Midtown site on November 1 and 2, from noon to 3 p.m. Hiring this close to opening fits Longobardo's comment in the same interview that the project had "really turned the corner" in the past few weeks.

A Chick-fil-A has also been reported for Midtown, but SWFL.life based that on permit records. It said the information did not come from the developer and that there was no confirmed opening date.

December is the earliest opening month any Midtown tenant has publicly named.

Back downtown, one thing starts in November

Riverside Park is still under construction, but the Bonita Springs Lions Club starts its Wednesday farmers and makers market season on November 4 at 10441 Childers St., next to the park. The Lions' market page lists hours of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays through April 2027. When the park's renovation is done, plans reported by SWFL.life in April call for a synthetic-turf event lawn, a permanent performance stage with bandshell improvements, and more shaded seating. Those features line up with the art festival's return in January.

For November, that leaves Saturdays at the Promenade, cheesesteaks at Beach Road Plaza and six dated shows at Arts Bonita. Voulez-Vous could still open before the month ends, and Midtown's first openings are currently pointed at December.
